I have received mine today from the official store and I'm very pleased with them.

They are gatefold card sleeves with a nice matte finish, sharply printed. They have reprints of the original CD booklets, with 2025 management and copyright added. The discs are styled as the original CDs for Very and Bilingual (although not frosted), the first four look to me like the LP stickers as the original CDs would have been a shiny finish. Work has gone into these, they're not just scans of the original artwork.

Interestingly, as you open the gatefolds, there are new pictures across each of the inner sides, era-appropriate but not reproductions of original LP sleeves. I think these are nice! Please has the black and white picture of them in towels with Neil drinking coffee, Actually has the "Heart" hats photo where they're looking down, Introspective has the picture from In Depth, Behaviour has a photo from the DJ Culture photo session, Very has the image that was used for Disco 2 and Bilingual has both of the pictures that were used for the Before sleeve. These are a nice surprise and they've been chosen well. A nice bit of design by Farrow there.

Overall, these are very nice, I bought them out of curiosity as I can afford to do so. They'll be a nice way for these albums to be in print in a modern edition for people wanting to buy them now. I don't suggest buying them if you already have the originals and Further Listening editions, unless you are a completist like me.

Ooh the insides sound nice - I'm quite pleased they've made some changes - feels like a way to entice new listeners into other areas of those particular eras of their career.

Thanks for the details! Which design have they used for the cover of the Very booklet?

The same as the front cover but without the text, so a reproduction of the booklet that was in the orange box CD. The inside of the gatefold is the blue picture of them in the "Liberation" outfits from Italian TV which the Disco 2 cover was based on.

Is the Please booklet the same as the original release's booklet with the larger photos, or is it the 2009 reissue's booklet with the smaller images?

Any reviews? I would like to see what the interior design and brochures look like.

This actually answers a different question I'd always had, which was whether the 2009 booklet was redesigned or still carried the "side A" and "side B" text that was copied from the LP over to the first CD issue. So it's not got the grid of nine pictures per page?

Thank you!!!!! They look pretty good. I doubt whether to buy them since it would only give me the change of format, since those people who have the CD, vinyl and further lintening because I see no more motivation than the new format. I have to think about it, but they look great.

Great choices for all those photos inside the gatefolds - they look brilliant. Vinyl reissues with those in would be great!

Actually I hate that they have inside gatefold images now, they are totally ruin the original design concepts, especially on Very. These images are totally unnecessary.

I totally agree that a vinyl reissue would look fantastic! The larger images that appear on 12 inch sleeves are the reason I started collecting PSB vinyl.

I love the exclusive inclusion of these images. It's even better that the images have been previously published. They are what prompted my purchase.

Oh! That's me! Thanks for sharing!
By the way. I was talking with a fellow collector about why on earth they didn't released them with a box!
Kind of like Oasis. I actually put them in the Smash box and they fit perfectly. (And also the Nonetheless singles!).
