Trying to get DreamWorld refund and Annually posted
Trying to get DreamWorld refund and Annually posted
I wouldn't normally start a thread about this but I have been trying for several days to get a refund for DreamWorld and have Annually posted. I paid for both of these months ago via the official store but have got nothing to show for it and no responses to any emails. Is anyone else in the same boat and up the same creek without a paddle?

Splitting the order might be too hard for the store's brain. Might have to cancel the full order and just order Annually separately.daveid wrote: Tue 17 Jun 2025, 10:26 pm I wouldn't normally start a thread about this but I have been trying for several days to get a refund for DreamWorld and have Annually posted. Greetings,
All the best with Annually, Dave.
Retro.
I'm in a different creek and have decided not to paddle. I ordered Dreamworld through Warner Australia who seem to handle the official Australian arm of their distribution. Whilst the note from the Pet Shop Boys mailing list said to seek a refund, I'm just going to wait. Warner Australia can either cancel it off their own bat and refund me, or they can deliver it to me in 2026 or whenever it is. I couldn't be bothered initiating a cancellation, only to have to re-order (possibly at a higher price) at a later date.daveid wrote: Tue 17 Jun 2025, 10:26 pm Is anyone else in the same boat and up the same creek without a paddle?

I used the Contact Us webform on the bottom on the store webpage and got a response in about a day. I assume it's a ticketing system so they're compelled to respond. No refund yet but it starts the ball rolling and you have a ticket in their system to refer back to.

I wrote them a message last week for the same reason and they replied to me this afternoon:
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us.
Thanks for reaching out. We're actively looking into the Dreamworld Bluray postponement for you and will get back to you shortly with an update.
I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Thanks all. Some good ideas there. I will contact them tomorrow and hope the "ball starts rolling" (how's that for an obscure one?)

Oop. Fingers crossed for a speedy shipment for you, daveid!
It does sound as though they're still trying to resolve the publishing issue. I hope for their sake that they can, because it would be sad to have to scrap all those DVDs.

Refund and Annually both arrived. Thanks everyone

I've just been refunded a second time. Possibly because they've given an automatic refund, and I emailed them a few weeks ago.

In typical PSB style. One refund from Neil. Another from Chris.TwizzleUK wrote: Fri 04 Jul 2025, 1:46 pmI've just been refunded a second time. Possibly because they've given an automatic refund, and I emailed them a few weeks ago.
