Thanks for the heads up zukunft - I've pre-ordered on their website (signed art cards available too, although not NT)

Had already pre-ordered this! The lead single was great. Had no idea about the guest spot... wondering if it'll be talking or singing?

Lol. Good one.

I will say this. I'm thankful in this day and age we can cherry pick audio files of "collaboration tracks" and purchase those in isolation rather than needing to buy (and in many cases import) the physical product.

Otherwise this would be an expensive season.

Retro. :)

I'm glad Neil's putting himself out there a bit, otherwise I'd never hear these other acts.

Incredible! These different little songs cropping up. The boys are so virile.

Yeah true. Remember Casisdead. That release was initially exclusive to Bandcamp!

By the way, all of this isn't exclusive to Neil. Mr. Chris has been active with these remixes and contributions to lesser known artists such as the Sleaford Mods. I'd say neither Pet Shop Boy is outpacing the other. (Chris had a modelling photoshoot in Arena HOMME+ magazine too by the way)

It sort of explains the album cover, they want to portray an image associated with masculinity.

Also the album title is a bit confusing, "Self Titled". I figured it was Kae Tempest - Kae Tempest but it's literally "Self Titled" which I guess is pretty funny in a way.

Anyway I'll try to go into the track with an open mind.
You know, PSB could be doing collabs with Paul McCartney or Gorillaz.

Please avoid transphobia. The Forum has only just caught up with dealing more strongly with its homophobic contributors.

It was just last night that I listened to their West End Girls cover but I did not feel moved or excited or frustrated. It is so...ordinary, listless, nothing new on the table. What was the purpose?. It is as if Jason Williamson was singing instead of Neil and the only difference seemed to be the accent to my untrained ears.

But I liked their Nudge It very much and this Williamson seems to be a great guy.

Don't try to hide your transphobia with "silly" comments. Or at least don't be so f*** open about it.

"Fiend" is definitely the right word you chose for yourself there. Please educate yourself.

I saw Kae in their pre-trans days when i was ''live recording of BBC Radio 4's Loose Ends and was very impressed. More recently I've even heard them played out on Radio 3.

"Self Titled" is a great title. Kae literally chose his own title, his own name. Something that causes some people real difficulties. The title "Self Titled" seems to make it clear that the album will tackle the changes Kae's been through, and the response of others to it (rather then third person stories about others as per their past works). Judging by the first two tracks and the interviews about the album, that's what we'll be getting.
