I'm really liking this one, one of the better of the recent PSB remixes.

Greetings,

Good solid mix but there's something about this guy's vocals I just cannot abide.

Retro. :)

Wow - two really good PSB remixes released on the same day. We are spoilt! Plus I'm a sucker for a House piano (and a new bassline...)

I don't really know anything about Hidden Cameras and after viewing the video on YT in my half asleep state, I could have sworn it was the Money Saving Expert himself, Martin Lewis strutting his stuff.

Enjoying the releases - always fun to hear the interpretation of PSB - Love the hidden Camera the most. Really cool sound!

After that I break into the new Cicero album released today - "Serenity" and relax completely (a spiritual album).

Love the hidden cameras mix -

although where is Neil? If i was Joel I'd be wanting my money back.

It''s particularly good at the 3 min mark with all the vocals coming in.

The original is still better I have to say, as it's a bloody strong tune and aesthetic.

This is fantastic and better than Tina Turner remix but it may be just me because this suits my tastes better. I can understand the anger in Tina fans, though. :D

Now we have a great track to dance to on the beach this summer.

Agree - this fits the summer mood perfectly. Great timing for this remix - we finally have some summer weather in Ontario too!

It says on the official website that it is a 12” single although there is no indication of the number of tracks or the respective run times. I think the 7” single reference is just a typo.

Crazy that on the same day 2 PSB remixes can be released that are polar opposites, this one top notch classic PSB effortlessly taking the original track to another level and the other, yee Gods what were they thinking! I wouldn't be at all surprised if the TT track was suddenly pulled and a different mix was released, the current one being some sort of rough first demo exorcise to see what worked... or more what doesn't work!

I was hoping for the same..somebody saying "oops sorry, wrong mix! this new is the correct one!""..but it seems that's not going to happen! :(

This is great. We say in Spanish: "Una de cal y una de arena". On the same day this great well put together remix that enhances the potential of the song, and the one for TT being probably the worst remix ever produced by anyone in the music industry on the whole metauniverse.

I much prefer the Tina Turner one to be honest. This, whilst solid, is PSB-by-numbers.

Retro. :)

Which is exactly what I want. Never really got my head round the 'PSB by numbers' quote like its something to frowned upon? Just a weird statement IMO. I want a PSB remix to sound like a PSB remix or what's the point! The TT track I would also say is a PSB by numbers track if you remove the vocal!

Just ordered a copy via:

https://www.jpc.de/jpcng/poprock/detail ... 68?lang=en

The link didn’t seem to be available for pre-order until now as I’d signed up for email notification which came earlier today. Although the JPC website isn’t the best to navigate. But you can switch to English at the very bottom scrolling down. You might have to create a personal account first too.

Hopefully it might be available on Amazon or other UK based website stores but I didn’t want to risk it.
