The easiest format to ship is obviously an oversized disc in a cardbox sleeve that won't fit in your mailbox instead of a small metal disc in a sturdy plastic box that does fit in your mailbox.

The small individual photos above each song on the inner sleeves are awful. Look like a quick google image search job. The originals are so much better

Do you know without much trouble the returns on the official website? And they don't take long?

What is your experience? I don't know whether to return it.

What do you think?
What, the corners are a bit bent? Not sure I'd bother, to be honest, as long as the vinyl's in good shape. Even if you did get it exchanged, the next one would probably get hammered in transit.
Right. I have been answered from the return email of the official store and told that minor damages are not covered. They recognize that carriers can mishandle items and that all they can do is accept a replacement.

The conditions are that I have to send mine paying for the shipment myself and when it arrives, if there are stocks, they send another one. I think that I send to the address they have given me will be quite expensive and as you say, the one they send me may be or may be in even worse condition and more deteriorated.

They also tell me that if they receive it there is no stock, they would give me a refund, therefore, there is a risk that I will run out of any.

Next time I buy it on Amazon. The problem is that in this case Amazon has been slow to put it on sale and with the fear of running out of the copy, because I asked the official store for it.

What would you do?

I have returned things to the official store in the past when damaged (although I am UK based) & yes you have to initially pay the p&p yourself but also send a copy of the receipt or email it to them of the cost - they did refund this. If you are not happy with it maybe send it back.

My copy came from Amazon UK inside a standard card recordmailer which was then in a large oversized box.

Still in stock at the following:

Considering how much time, expense and hassle you have to go through to send it back and, even then, possibly not even get another one, I would recommend keeping the copy you have and overlooking the minor flaws on the cover. I wouldn't send it back unless the vinyl was broken. I think this is an unfortunate consequence of our mail-order convenience age - your stuff is almost guaranteed to arrive with shipping trauma because our delivery systems are NOT gentle.

I have had the internal argument of PSB Store vs Amazon myself and I don't think there's a right or wrong answer. I've had mostly good experiences with the PSB Store but it's more expensive and I waited three months for my copies of ATYD. I'm giving Amazon the chance with my Dreamworld DVD but Amazon is big and impersonal and they don't care about my packages.

I would order a new one from Amazon then once you have two, return the one that is in the worst condition.

Whilst I know it happens I hate having vinyl with more than a small crease on the cover as part of the joy is the physical object.

Also it's easy to blame the delivery system for damages, but have to say that the cardboard mailers are often pretty robust.

I think much of that sleeve damage is more likely from when and how it is stored at the shipping premises. Having worked at a place that had a warehouse where we shipped video games and accessories, I can assure you this is a far more likely way your items are getting damages through general mishandling at the point of sale.
