I think hearing Very in instrumental format would be great.
here it is, the very instrumental megamix part1:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06LiRHt4jrE

including all the songs from the album...

starts off slowly, but of course increasingly picks up tempo as the album goes along..

'very' interesting .... ha ha..

enjoy..

also made one with all the further listening tracks, which are very cool, and more uptempo
if that is possible.... i think it actually sounds better..

will post if there is interest

Thanks! What a great album Very is - nice to really hear those layers of production without the vocal...

One version of it's a sin, it could'nt happen here and dreaming of the queen exist too.

Now there's a lot of ai sites that can removes the vocal and it gives a pretty good result, not perfect but it's rather good.
There are also instrumental versions of:

West End Girls
What Have I Don't To Deserve This?
Always On My Mind
Heart (Actually version)
It Couldn't Happen Here
Nothing Has Been Proved (Dusty)
In Private (Dusty)
Losing My Mind (Liza)
Don't Drop Bombs (Liza)
Being Boring
This Must be The Place I waited Years To Leave
Where The Streets Have No Name (I Can't Take My Eyes Off You)
Yesterday, When I Was Mad
It Doesn't Often Snow At Christmas

And, of course, everything from Fundamental, including Yes, Elysium, Electric, Super, and Hotspot all the way through to Nonetheless.

This is a bit weird, isn't it? The hi-hat and kick drum are missing from the intro. Cool ending though!

My knowledge of songs definately erodes past the 00's but there were a few from the 20's and 10's I knew thanks to my kids. Bless them!

I’m kind of fascinated by this ‘West End Girls’ instrumental. I’m wondering if it was created from a slightly earlier mix of the released version and whether they added the drums to the intro right at the last minute.

It's a six minute mix. Never before heard?
