PSB old studio for sale

#1 Post by PopArt »

The estate agency The Modern House has just listed PSB’s old studio in Clerkenwell for sale. It’s been converted into a house and costs a cool £6m.

Anyone know where their current studio is based? I thought they were still in Clerkenwell?

I thought they bought a building in Camden with room for a studio, offices, and storage.

They should have kept it, refurbished it and rented it out.

If I win the lottery I'm building a recording studio in some old farmhouse or barn. I won't know how to use it but can let others and have fun just being there to hear the process. I can dream 😌

A PSB Into-Thin-AirBnB. :D

OMG, how gorgeous is that. And how insanely priced. Can real people afford to live in London these days??

Seems huge for what you'd think their needs for a studio would be. Or was it originally split into multiple work spaces and they just happened to setup a studio in theirs?

I think their current studio is still Shoreditch with Sam Taylor Johnson isn’t it?

The space they shared with Sam Taylor Wood was in Clerkenwell - she had the office upstairs; their studio was downstairs. I do wonder if it might be this place. It’s just 10 minutes walk from The Jerusalem Tavern (now The Holy Tavern) where Sam took the Numb sleeve photo.
Woof.

I can’t remember where I got it from, but I thought the studio was/is Turville Street

Yeah, I think you might be right. These photos from her studio session have that same asymmetric window, and the windows in the building behind are also a match.

Film-maker and "his" family - well, I guess Sam's an ambiguous name!

Upwards of six million pounds to live in the “Dickensian charm” of clerkenwell. Christ, I lived there in the early 90s and “sh1th0le” would have been overselling it.
is is and isnt isnt
