Pet Shop Boys today reveal a special expanded edition of their latest album, “Nonetheless”, which will be released in a triple black vinyl set, double CD set and digitally on 22nd November. Link to pre-order below.
The expanded edition will feature the full “Nonetheless” album plus four new bonus songs and the original demo versions of all the tracks on the album. The bonus tracks include two cover versions: the @DavidBowieReal-penned “All the young dudes” and the 1967 soul song “The dark end of the street”. There are also two tracks originally recorded during the “Nonetheless” sessions: a version of the classical composition “Miserere” by Gregorio Allegri and a PSB original titled “Adrenaline”.

£62 for a few demos and perfunctory covers!!!!! They really do seem to be milking the fanbase lately. I know you don't have to buy it but jeez. I'd prefer instrumentals too.

The triple LP is 62 quid?! I know the price of records has gone up a lot in the last 25 years but the original Nonetheless deluxe (two discs) was £37 - surely there's got to be something special about the packaging for this? (Edit - just seen it says it's a six-panel gatefold sleeve. Wonder what the extra artwork will be?)
Think this is one I'll be getting on CD for the bonus disc - can't really justify owning more than one vinyl copy of the same album!

Same here. Already have 'Nonetheless' and 'Furthermore' on CD and vinyl, so don't feel the need to buy a third physical copy of the album. I usually buy most PSB albums and singles on CD for the packaging/artwork, but will make an exception for this. Hopefully I'll be able to buy the digital tracks from disc 2 in lossless somewhere - although that may work out more expensive that just buying the double CD!
So the nonetheless era has spawned:- Ten album tracks, ten demo tracks, 4 re-records, 11 bonus tracks/b-sides and 7 remixes. Not a bad haul overall. Still could do with some "Feel" remixes and a couple of decent "Loneliness" remixes though.

I make it 12 bonus tracks - don’t forget Clean Air Hybrid Electric Bus.
It feels like this draws the Nonetheless era to a close. It’s interesting that this is different to a “Further Listening” style release - it would have been easy to compile all the b-sides - quite likely therefore that they are saving that for another day.
