I don't think it can be classed as a 5th single without actually having a track from Nonetheless, surely ! Even if it is equal billing with one of the new songs.
Do you expect a fifth single (and probably last) from Nonetheless in December?

Let’s be honest, it doesn’t matter as far as us fans are concerned, whether the new single comes from Nonetheless, or is one of the new tracks from the expanded edition. The only factor that will influence the choice is potential radio play. They’ve had great support from BBC Radio 2 in the UK so far this year - whether that’s been part of some mutually beneficial deal or not, I’m not sure. But they’ll be looking for a single choice that will at least hope to continue that relationship. I suspect the single package will lead with one of the new cover versions, plus a reworking of one of the core Nonetheless tracks. Kind of a 2024 take on Where the Streets / Seriously.
Woof.

The latter with Neil and Chris either looking upon the scene or sitting facing the camera.E-Mail Vampire wrote: ↑Sat 28 Sep 2024, 12:44 pmThat could be a real possibility.
I could imagine the cover being a single Christmas tree covered in their baubles or the aftermath of an office Christmas party.

Agreed, they could release a 10 minute version of the Generic jingle, and I'd be happy ( ), but I don't think they would mention a '5th' release off the album, if it didn't also include another track from the main album, which I think is what will happen, even with one of the bonus tracks as the lead off track. I too think that will be New London Boy.Dog wrote: ↑Sat 28 Sep 2024, 9:49 pmLet’s be honest, it doesn’t matter as far as us fans are concerned, whether the new single comes from Nonetheless, or is one of the new tracks from the expanded edition. Re: Do you expect a fifth single (and probably last) from Nonetheless in December?
Their tweet said Feel is their fourth single this year. Will there be a fifth? That's not quite the same as the fourth one from Nonetheless. So the hint is ambiguous. It may well mean a fifth single that isn't from the album proper...

If it means we get an extra couple of unreleased tracks as well, then I will be happy either way !
We really have been spoilt this year !

It's been their biggest year release-wise ever and that's before we get to all those demos and any B sides from single 5. Even Very didn't yield the sheer number of tracks that have come out, and that was spread over more than a year. I wonder if it's one final hurrah from them.

No chance! It’s a culmination of writing lots of material during lockdown and have no doubt written a load more since. Plus the Parlophone Effect!!!daveid wrote: ↑Sun 29 Sep 2024, 4:41 pm It's been their biggest year release-wise ever and that's before we get to all those demos and any B sides from single 5. Of course, but they also wrote a ton of stuff in the Release era but Parly weren't keen on releasing muchLeonidas wrote: ↑Sun 29 Sep 2024, 6:53 pmNo chance! The issue now is their age. The clock is sadly ticking.daveid wrote: ↑Sun 29 Sep 2024, 7:10 pmOf course, but they also wrote a ton of stuff in the Release era but Parly weren't keen on releasing muchLeonidas wrote: ↑Sun 29 Sep 2024, 6:53 pmNo chance! I was thinking that maybe the plan for 2025 is a third b-sides compilation. If that's the case, surely a setlist is already set, thus they need another single where to include the b-sides.

This makes a lot of sense. Thanks! Will be interesting to see what they choose.

I think it cleary means that the next single is from the extra CD. And, since the opening track of the extra CD is known, there is no suspence at all!
The fifth '24 single will be All the young dudes
