I like the remix, love to hear Neils vocals but is a miss chance IMO for the verses arent there
Does anyone here know why PSB after spending money on Cicero, on productions, doing vocals, promotion and even Chris himself did a video shooting.. why after 30 years Pet Shop Boys dont even promote this new release on social media in a single post ? Like "Here is the remastered 30 year old anniversary album Cicero "Future Boy" Released on our extinguised label Spaguetti Recordings back in 1992. Neil x"
My guess is that something bad happened between them.
Otherwise its a work from all 3 of them involved and producer David Jacob.
Maybe someone here knows better and wants to share it with us.
Something clearly happened. Radio silence for nearly 30 years for everything Spaghetti related. Cicero should have been huge. The entire spaghetti era seemed woefully under promoted. Is as if they lost interest half way through.
His music was a bit dated by then though to be honest. Loving feeling though good sounds significantly like the radio version of its alright, heaven must have first version...geeqt song but a bit 1982 HI NRG...
Hello my name is Neil Tennant and I'm Chris Lowe and we're of the Pet Shop Boys.
Dave Cicero is just amazing. Turned Around, River of Lies (original and remixes), Weekender & it´s over (extended mix) - just to mention a few are fantastic.
The future boy era was great and special (I have pre-order both CD/Vinyl) but the new is pure class as you say.
About the CDs, the "Live For Today (Orchestral Longer Version)" isn´t just a "longer" variant of the Orchestral from the Soundtrack CD, but a totally different version. Nice surprise there!
On the other hand, "Live For Today (Underground Dub)" sound really bad here compared with the Club Mix (also mixed by Judge Jules) and also compared with the same version that was included on the 2016 re-issue (like if the wrong master were used here, or even a vinyl rip instead of a real master tape).
Finally, the closing track "Cicero In Da House" is not the complete track shared on Youtube by Cicero time ago, but just an isolated repetition of the intro of "That Loving Feeling" album version. It seems that somebody did something wrong there...
The rest is OK!

Having had a couple of listens now (and loving the DVD by the way).
Must hear tracks:
The live version of Middle Class Life has a beautiful new instrumental section.
Love Is Everywhere (Shelter Extended Mix) is something special.
Wish (Early 7” Version) is good to hear with the original singer, the very talented Bianca Kinane who was on one of those early reality TV music shows. I think she later worked with K-Klass?
And that Orchestral Longer Version of Live For Today, with just Sylvia.
I've been a massive fan of Cicero since day dot.
All of his first run of singles are some of my all time favorites of the 90's - especially 'Love is Everywhere'
And as previously mentioned above - the new material over the past few years has been some of his best too :
River of Lies
A message for broken hearts
Weekender
We were in love
It's Over
Turned around
Face this world alone
Really impressed with the White vinyl re-release and DVD - and super excited for the next album to be released early next year
what a performance tonight, should I react or turn off the light ?
Turned Around, from his Today album, is superb. If sung by Dua Lipa or even if The Weeknd sung it, it'll be a worldwide smash, but as it's sung by a 53 year old bloke from Scotland, it didn't stand a chance
