There's also a pepper and a jar of moisturiser but maybe we shouldn't read too much into that.

I completely agree! I’m hoping for the use of hardware synths on this album and not plugins.

I love the sound of Cover Me by Depeche Mode. I think it’s an interesting choice, hopefully a more analogue warmer sound which was featuring in part on Hotspot
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

I loved ‘Ghosts Again’ on the new Depeche Mode album but the new track ‘My cosmos is mine’ is awful.
Its taken me all of my life to find you

You never know, this could be the first Pet Shop Boys’ full band record, pulling in the Dreamworld musicians.

What's Your Pleasure was a big favorite of mine that year, too, and I've always meant to post here specifically about "The kill" and how they must have intentionally donned their Pet Shop Boys caps to craft that track. I played the album this morning (for obvious reasons) and thought of PSB during "Save a kiss" as well.

I love Simian Mobile Disco's work with Beth Ditto, too. I didn't have any of their own albums until the fascinating project they made with The Deep Throat Choir. That was a top album for me, too.

It's nice to remember that Chris was a fan from their beginning, as Simian, selecting that Justice remix of "We are your friends" for PSB's Back to Mine set.

Ooohh, I'm hoping there can be a reasonably quick turnaround on this!

This is great news. Firstly that they are recording the new album and secondly because it’s James Ford who is from my home town! Very excited

I'm just pleased to see them in the studio!

Producer is a secondary thing for me, as they bring a lot of production knowledge themselves. Just always exciting to see them mixing it up.

I only know James ford from Depeche Mode. Not a fan of “Spirit” or of what I’ve heard of “Memento Mori” so far.
