The last two Arctic Monkeys albums may also be pointers.

Well this is exciting! I wonder if it'll be ready for release before the end of the year.

Looking back at Annually, they started recording Hotspot 14 months before it came out (Nov 2018 - Jan 2020). They had originally planned for it to appear in 2019 which would have suggested more like a 12 month turnaround.

Very exciting!!

Folks have expressed their displeasure at DM’s “Spirit” but as we know, Ford also produced the imminent “Memento Mori” and so far it sounds gorgeous!😎

This is fantastic news. I was rather surprised to see their IG post with the announcement. I thought the first we would hear of any such news would be in Annually.

Also, they start touring again in 10 weeks from now. I wonder how the whole process will work this time.

Yes,me too. Either that or news that they were planning a phased retirement...

Anyway, colour me excited. I can hang on til 2024, just about.

Exciting news.

Given that they still tour this year a 2023 release seems unlikely.

But hey I can wait until 2024.

Take your time and keep up the good work Boys.

I'm beyond excited for this. James Ford's work on Jessie Ware's album is exemplary. I mean, listen to The Kill.

Fantastic news but i'm not sure about the producer. I don't like dm very much and don't want another release.
