Why didn't they release Was it worth it? in January of 1992. Wouldn't that have guaranteed a top 20 placing with less competition?
It was probably released in December in hope to push the sales of Discography.
I do get the impressio that they mis time things.
For example, Videography doesnt include the video for Was it worth it? and therefore not complete.
They must have known they were doing a compilation with 2 singles so surely had time to prepare 2 films.
Granted the Heaven gig was 15th October and Discography/Videography was released just 25 days later so back then, no time to do video and get the videos made for release so why not do a video in time for release?
Did they ever played this song live in it's dance form like in the original version ? i know they played it on Release tour but in different version. What about concert in the video was it on tour or only for video purpose ?

They played it at their Heaven and Hacienda shows in 1991 and 1992. The video footage was shot at the former.

As far as I know they only played the original version once live. That was at a one off concert at Heaven around the time of Discography’s release. The performance footage in the video is taken from that concert
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.
Just beat me to it Dog, completely forgot they played it at Hacienda. There was a review of that concert that described it as their weakest single but that it had a certain coolness when played live (I’m sure coolness wasn’t the actual term but you get the gist )

How spoiled we were if we had Was it worth it? as their weakest single.
Hard to pick a weakest off Discography, but I guess it'd have to be one of the last two. I'd pick DJ Culture, even though it's a nice addition to the package.
Was it worth it? has wonderful final glow for the album as it trails off.

I bet if Was it worth it? was released today everyone would think it the best thing in years. It's all relative to the quality we expect from a given time period.
