It's slightly sad how optimistic Neil was about the musical - he talks about opening somewhere small like the Arts Theatre as a precursor to moving somewhere larger. How many weeks was it there in the end? I still wish they'd got the rights to Brighton Rock.
You do have to admire their persistence to still be around more than two decades on. They'd had a poorly received album, low ticket sales for the tour and a short-lived musical in quick succession; one could hardly blame them if they'd packed it all in.
