PSB remixing 'well known English male who plays guitar.'

#1 Post by Suburban_Boy »

So Pete Gleadall just posted a link on his Instagram to an interview with 11 year old music fan Logan Kelly who has a podcast (!)

When asked what he's got coming up, one thing Pete mentions is, well, basically the subject of this post.

It's a nice little interview, here is a link to the specific section with this (what I think is new) news.

Assuming it isn't common knowledge, let the guessing begin.

This is not common knowledge! The guessing can begin indeed!
Obvious guess would be Ed Sheeran, but my money is on George Ezra, who had a song produced by Stuart Price. It has been released 6 months ago already, but the music industry is strange these days.

Please let it just be someone “new“ or somewhat young or preferably interesting and not just another has been with another same old song.

Paul Weller again?

Ed Sheeran?

Peter Hook?
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

Auto transcript:
I'm quite interested in are you working
on anything at the moment?

I'm always working on things um
I've got some some records coming out uh
I think next year on uh various dance
labels uh foreign
exclusively they do do a lot of things
and they've just been they've just
remixed a well-known
uh English male who plays guitar
uh and we mixed that last week in the
studio Notting Hill two separate
versions of his record and that'll be
coming out soon.
The only person that comes to mind for me is Harry Styles. Hopefully they are collaborating with someone that significant.
Another remix though.. I can't say I'm excited.
Maybe it'll be good for a weekend but I can't see it having a lasting impacting in any way.

My guess would be Johnny Marr. He also had a Vince Clarke remix done recently.

+1 for George Ezra. He's still doing promo for his latest album.
A blues would be in B flat, pain defining wisdom,
but the soul is in the high hat, programmed in the system.

I think Gallagher, Ezra and Marr are all credible guesses.
