One would like to think so, Drico, but then Pet Shop Boys have rarely done the obvious...
You'd think they'd have some sort of updated Greatest Hits out but that's non-existent too

We could still get a hits album at the end of the year or early next.

"We have a tonne of new songs".

That's the only takeaway that really matters from today's interview. Oh, and Chris's collapsing chair in Paul McCartney's kitchen, of course.

And Linda making them cookies of course. Very intriguing that they seem so friendly. Never heard of any kind of friendship between them before. Wonder were they approached at some point to possibly produce or even write with him?

IIRC, Trevor Horn produced Macca's album right after Introspective, so they could have met on Horn's birthday.

Lennon / McCartney / Tennant / Lowe ... now that would have produced some interesting results.
you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional

I thought in the interview Chris sounded a bit different? Maybe I wasn’t quite awake when I heard it. Great news about more dates next year and possibly they will add or change some of the setlist? It was great to hear them mention about new songs and another musical. I think this tour has energised them and if they are still enjoying it and people still want to see them why should they stop.

Anyone know the average capacity they have been playing on this tour? It feels to be around the 10-12K mark?

I’ve not seen them outdoors so a few local outdoor dates would go down well.

It sounded like they were talking over Zoom or Skype or similar. It had that weird metallic ring that those kind of calls sometimes have. I presume they were in London as they said they were about to head to rehearsals for the 'extra' bits for Glasto.

Maybe they became friends, when McCartney was invited to record a song for Twentieth-Century Blues.

Neil lived near to thumbs aloft when he had a place in Rye. I think he went horse riding with him and Linda
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

Just listened to the interview again, greenmile you were spot on as it was probably a zoom thing and the voices sounded a bit different. Even though I’ve seen dreamland once already will probably go again next year. Not seen a gig at Wembley Arena for ages. Also it takes ages to get from there to Liverpool Street station and remember after the nightlife show ended we missed the last train home so will book a hotel this time around.
