That’s the best bit for me.
Maybe it was meant to read “very own mum”! That would have been a little more pleasant.
To be fair, Vivien must be 90ish - what a legend!

Really enjoyed that interview, honest and funny. As always with their interviews there are some great quotes and although I’ve been lucky enough to see dreamworld I am so looking forward to seeing them play Glastonbury next week. The show will look incredible on tv and they will have a bigger audience than the pyramid stage that night.

Greetings,

If it's an EP of Integral and In The Night style darkness, power and drama, then it'll be great.

If it's "fascism" as the term gets bandied about on social media nowadays, it will be a cringy collection of Agenda-esque pastiche.

I hope for the former but anticipate the latter.

Retro. :)

Amazing article and interview!
I'd rather an album, but for this year an EP can do the job.

the day I Don't Know What You Want But I Can't Give It Anymore made number 15 and transformed the DotMusic forum into a blazing inferno of fan panic, volcanic depression, and a virtual death row for fairweather fandom.
Can anybody please explain this?

DotMusic.

Now that's a name I've not heard in a long time. A long time.

Some of us have been at this for over twenty years: https://web.archive.org/web/20020211111 ... .asp?id=28

I ended up meeting my partner through the Dotmusic Pet Shop Boys forum and we've been together ever since.

For those that remember...was it Aimoo that we moved to after Dotmusic?

Wiedersehen and Twentieth Century suggest that they can handle the lyrics. Is this the dark techno release they’ve been talking about for a while?

I think there was something else between Dot and Aimoo - I want to say Sky but it doesn’t sound right?

I asked about the “dark techno” tracks back in 2020’s Annually, and at the time they didn’t seem to know what I was referring to. Their answer was “What there really is is an unreleased body of second-rate songs.” Of course they could have been being coy.

Yeah it was Sky Forums. I have an old screenshot but can't upload as the board quota is full.

I'm not sure of the order but I remember we've been at these over the years. ..

Dot music,
Hostboard (wasn't it meant to be a temporary forum between moves?)
Sky
Aimoo (seem to recall it being around 2002 / Release album)
