Re: Dreamworld - The Greatest Hits tour - reviews
Amazing show in Prague last night. I don't have tons of experience in other venues but the sound quality in Forum Karlin is really great. It's only a 3000+ venue so I guess that helps compared to 12000+ arenas! I'm not sure but I think something happened with Chris's keyboard early on, it seemed to stop working and it looked like he was waiting for a reboot, he kept glancing off to the side of the stage, not 100% sure though.

I was there - in Prague..my first PSB show ever, though they are my favourite duo for many years..I am not expert neither, but the sound and everything was amazing, not being bored for a minute. I was on other side of the venue than Chris plus did not have my glasses…place near bar actually and I noticed that even the barman, who does not look like PSB expert/ fan probably seemed to enjoy the show with happy smile…

It was certainly an incredible show. Much more live than what is appreciated in the videos.oakey wrote: ↑Sun 12 Jun 2022, 10:01 am A (positive) review of the Berlin show: https://www.morgenpost.de/kultur/articl ... Arena.html
They make you want to see the show live again in the different countries they tour and follow them with the Dreamworld tour

Stockholm review - headline roughly translates into "PSB's hit parade can be summarized as pure happiness"!

That's a lovely review.
I agree with the author. I have always found Pet Shop Boys utterly prescient and relevant (in pop, this always seems to be measured in commerce rather than art), but It's Alright and Go West are utterly of the moment. And how fantastic does Vocal sound? In my book (a hefty tome), Vocal pips Leaving as the greatest Pet Shop Boys track of the 2010s. It does so because, in a dead heat, ecstatic joy has to be given pole position over poignant regret. And that sort of sums Pet Shop Boys up: "Expressing passion, explaining pain". Long live the kings.
