I have a feeling once the excitement settles the mediocrity of this setlist will be appreciated. The 21st century has been largely ignored.
I sincerely *love* Disco 2 and listen to it straight through regularly.

The elephant in the room is that a Pet Shop Boys greatest hits show is, by definition, skewed to the 1980s. This effectively eliminates the vast majority of singles post Very.

They have the same problem when compiling a one-disc or two-disc greatest hits CD. Yes, you can include all the biggest hits, but doing so simply highlights their commercial impotence after Go West and there is no great late career hit to link the present to the past.

At this point in their career, though, one has to embrace the commercial legacy and accept that this is what they will be remembered for. To their credit, the inclusion of Rent, So Hard, I don't know what you want but I can't give it any more, Drunk, and Can You Forgive Her? among other lesser-played greatest hits is to be celebrated. We've had the imperial phase, the slide down-the-dumper, and the global touring behemoth reinvention (also known as the wildly successful waddling-pompously-across-the-globe epoch). We have now entered the curation era. Most bands don't get to first base. We're enjoying a complete life cycle.

Love etc. still needs to be played imo. It was their last real hit here in Germany. It almost reached the top 10 and charted for many weeks here. Hopefully they'll play it here :D It's also a very popular song amongst fans, too and I feel it needs to be included in a Greatest Hits Show (15 million views on YouTube, too).

You could say the same for Home and dry as well but maybe they thought they could skip them as they played both regularly on on Tours in the past? Don't know. Would have loved either Miracles or Flamboyant as well to have a couple more "newer" tracks in there as well.

It's strange that they haven't included any singles from Super (The Pop Kids) or Fundamental (Minimal).

Of course, Paninaro hoped that it would be included. I hope that in Berlin some more will be included...

Looking forward to going!!!!!!!!!

Including something from Elysium? As in, their critically bashed, lowest charting album with no hits to speak of? They barely included anything for the Electric tour! Funny, that.

Great scenography change: minimalism at the beginning, more "live" after a few songs.
But I don't like to spoiler anything, since it was all a big surprise for everyone.

They are great, as usual.
Neil got confused with "Jealousy" lirics, but was able to get right on track after a few seconds.
Many songs have new arrangement.

Best moments?
Heart was great.
Vocal is a perfect song for a live.
Devices and the change of scenography was shivers.

Poor merchandise: T-shirts and T-shirts.
No tour program.
I bought a mug.

There's a topic for spoilers, I guess it's because people want to be spoiler free in other topics.

This is a mind-boggling statement considering the setlist includes 27 singles.

Give them a break,it's a greatest hits tour what was some people expecting ?, they can't play every single so there's always some fans who will be disappointed,a couple of my friends saw them last night and said they were amazing, they were very impressed with the lighting and stage set up in their opinion better than the Super tour stage setup and lighting, I'm certainly looking forward to seeing them at the O2
