Nothing unusual, they have just relased Cricket wife, and they have been busy doing a lot of songs.

Very quiet indeed.
To think the latest news on the homepage of the official site is about Discovery.
I like the Discovery re-release, I had a listen recently. But that was announced back in January.

Personally I think I'm starting to lose some interest in PSB with all this.
They almost appear to be drip feeding some information. Today it's announcing new tour dates but honestly as someone in another country, and after all of the repeated delays on the Dreamworld tour I really don't care too much about more tour date announcements for unknown places. It's essentially nothing for most fans.

I do think the problem lies within our expectations. For Neil and Chris it might be crystal clear that they won't be releasing new music et al. until (most of) the GH tour is done.

However, I do agree that their whole presence lacks drive and verve. It speaks volumes to me when the photos taken for a magazine feature are the best and most expressive for more than ten years.

I'm starting to lose a bit of interest as well, especially when the new direction post Price turns out to be inaudible dirges like CW.

Hopefully, they'll be releasing anything of interest in the future. Even Elton John appears much more vital than Neil and Chris atm...

However, just when you least expect it... so there's a bit of hope left.

Starting to "lose interest"?! Jesus...with fans like these who needs haters...?!
Many artists disappear for months or years at a time without it being a big deal. It's called getting on with life and the functional side of work i.e creating new ideas for music. A gradual process that doesn't necessarily translate into a fan-friendly TikTok video update or whatever.

Neil and Chris are not in their 30s anymore when every day was PSB duty. If you're expecting updates every few weeks you're gonna be disappointed. I'm just grateful that they're still a going concern.

I'm a fan for more than 20 years, yet I'm in my early 30s.

Also, with my post I didn't demand anything you've just mentioned. However, being in my thirties my expectations may well differ from yours.

Being pop stars, PSB's priory is entertaining their fans. And I said their whole presence (for a certain amount of time now) at least to my personal eyes and ears lacks verve and drive.

I do expect a fundamental change in their direction of music in spite of it still being pop, I do expect creative phots and videos as well as artwork, I do expect cool and upcoming names if it comes to choosing remix artists. I do expect a total different approach to their live shows.

However, if nothing of it is coming I'll still be a fan as they're the soundtrack to my life and hold an extraordinary place in my heart.

So what's wrong with having expectations? It's what's everyone keeps going on.

If you're satisfied with status quo than fair enough it's your cup of tea but I'm not afraid of sharing an opinion that's fair enough to be spoken out.

Sounds like Depeche Mode may be no more, with Gahan saying that he's in no rush to return and isn't that bothered. I think PSB will run and run until one of them dies. Releases will become more sporadic as time goes on but there will always be something to look forward to, even if we are kept in the dark as to what it is...

Telling NME that he “takes nothing for granted”, Gahan admitted that he’s now “definitely got to that point where if I don’t have fun doing it then I’m not going to do it any more,” but that he “certainly wouldn’t rule out” Depeche Mode getting back in the studio sooner rather than later.

The next Annually is going to be rather thorough on it's story of the Paul Weller remix, plus 48 pages of questions!

I bet it will feature the year 1987. Could get interesting.

I bet you are right on 1987 because the first "Literally" fan club issue was covering 1989, correct?
