I wouldn't say I'm a hardcore Pethead - I'm not a completist, rarely buy merchandise, and wouldn't approach them if I saw them walking down the street - but I'll happily pay a small fortune to see them every 18 months if they turn up in my city.

Besides, with the best will in the world, one PSB show is pretty much the same as the next one. Only Performance was ever particularly unique. Everything else has merely been an iteration of itself, albeit imaginative iterations. So, seeing Dreamworld for the third time is almost as exciting to me as seeing a new show would be. It's not so much about the "art" anymore. Once you've seen Performance, I'm not sure anything else ever was.

Personally, I'm totally over Dreamworld. It serves a purpose and I appreciate some may not have seen it yet and there are those that would happily see it for the 15th time. I get all that. However, I live in hope that one day I get to see the 'album tracks and b sides' tour that Chris even came up with a set list for..!! Yes, I know I'm probably in fantasy land, but if I want more Dreamworld, I can just stick on PopArt..

They know:

1) They have gained quite a big exposure the last year and they want to earn more money with the tour.
2) They couldn't show on tour the last few singles like ANLB or ATYD on tour. I can't remember if they played "Feel".
3) This is a Greatest Hits Tour, it explains the long running period with it.
4) There is too much time to go with a new album and the musical is far to be premiered.
5) They are old people who love playing music in concerts and traveling. Even more in summer time, it's a good excuse for them to play in festivals. I'm sure they will be playing in Spain again. Spain is the perfect place for British people to make tourism.

It's true that they fully realised their artistic vision as to what the Pet Shop Boys live should be like on only their second ever tour, nearly 34 years ago. It was the first ever concert by anyone I went to and still the best.

Although it is always great to see them touring, but I feel like this came out of nowhere. I'll be honest, it DID come out of nowhere. Opened up my Instagram on a random Tuesday evening and bam - PSB is on tour again??

With the Dreamworld DVD/CD coming out and with so many shows played in these past years, I really don't understand why are they contuining with the tour. Not sure if it was only me, but 2024 seemed like a definite end for the tour. Plus why only UK and Europe? I think it would be more reasonable to travel to other parts of the world f.E Asia and South America, although maybe it will happen! It is always good to have more money

Nonetheless, I will probably attend if they come to my country or close enough to it. Having seen them last summer, my only wish for the continuation is to change up the setlist! I would love to see more songs played from the more recent albums, ESPECIALLY more from 'Nonetheless' and 'Hotspot' :D

Well... I was about to plunk down money for an airline ticket to the UK for my annual summer hols but now I think I'll wait for an announcement!

Late July in the south of England would be perfect, chaps. Just sayin'.

I’d be surprised. Aren’t those the exact same venues as the 2024 dates, in the same order?
Woof.

This is very unlikely, if they play at Warwick Castle. There won't be two shows within a few days in Birmingham and Warwick Castle (distance about 30 miles).

That's an AI generated response from Google based on last year's dates, they are not going to not play in Belfast for 30 years, then play twice within 12 months, when the 2024 gig didn't sell out.

I saw OMD twice in Melbourne since my recent post here the other day.
Why can't PSB perform here?
They'd be well welcome. There's a massive fanbase of 80's music lovers.
Lots of people fly to Australia for concerts too.
PSB get regular airplay.
I feel if they can't forecast selling out stadiums, at least do smaller venues like other bands of the era do.
It was phenomenal seeing OMD. Next is New Order and Soft Cell. Whyyyyyyy can't PSB perform in Australia.
Is it PSB themselves, or the promoters.

OMD look like they are having the best time. I hope you get the Boys over there soon. They have already proved they can do the set in smaller venues although I imagine the costs would be a lot higher getting it to Aus.

I’m sure I read somewhere Neil was talking about how they wait for offers from promoters and then consider them so maybe for concerts this year they had big offers to tour again. I would love to see a changed set list of at least 6 songs but with the programming and graphics is this doable to make it financially doable?

It’s been mentioned by Neil many times in interviews that they have tons of songs so perhaps the next album is written and it’s a case of finding the next producer and polishing the demos ready for release next year.

I did get a reply from mark farrow about the since 1984 merchandise and we will see more at some point this year.

Having seen dreamworld twice if it’s the same set list I probably won’t be in a hurry to get tickets but if Chris and Neil announce a heavily changed set list then I’ll be at one of the concerts. I do understand the comments about being fed up of dreamworld but if it was you and someone offered you a load of cash would you turn it down?

This is what I am confused about the continuation of the tour - why is it only in the UK and Europe? There are a lot of fans in other parts of the world, why limit themselves to only one place? From what I have heard across the web, they were supposed to come to Australia, although I am not sure. I hope that there will be some dates announced for other countries across the world in the future - fingers crossed
