I have tickets for the German show and Germany is even moving towards 2G+, ie fully vaccinated plus a negative test result. Vaccination (2G) is already mandatory for attending such events throughout Germany

Re: DREAMWORLD Greatest Hits Tour RESCHEDULED until 2022
Technically vaxxed people could get together and watch concerts. But anyone else get the feeling that in reality, the logistics of covid are making all this unappetizing?
There's much greater risk of disruption. Far more to it than getting people into a room fully vaxxed. It's the whole logistics of it. And testy optics of pushing ahead with entertainment while so many people are struggling, hospitals under pressure, etc. Can't see it ending soon.
I'm sure we'll see them again, but at the same time N&C must be weighing up the option of retiring to a studio life.

Re: DREAMWORLD Greatest Hits Tour RESCHEDULED until 2022
The world has been turned upside down and in almost 2 years I have yet to see any government be able to get a handle on this crazy nightmare and here in Europe in January 2022 (4 months before the 2020/2021/2022 "Dreamworld Tour" supposedly starts), it is worse than ever before. We really have no idea what is coming next, but I am sure this jolt will not end any time soon. So much planning and money goes into planning theatrical world concert tours. And I am sure that eventually, if we are privileged enough to be able to attend a €70/$80/£60 concert, then as part of the process we need to share our medical history to have some fun and save lives at the same time. I would like to feel the glass is half full, but after 2020 and 2021, I'm more pessimistic than ever.

It looks like the new Omikron variant has milder symptoms than Delta, so that’s promising, a lot of experts are saying that it is very likely, that new variants will be even milder, it looks like the worst is behind us, let’s hope so.

By the by, I noticed that Erasure had to abruptly "postpone" their 27-date Jan/Feb 2022 North American tour that was supposed to start a few days from now. It must be hard to put these concerts on with such chaos.

True, but scheduling concert in Jan/Feb in the northern hemisphere in a covid world is pretty dumb.
I sincerely *love* Disco 2 and listen to it straight through regularly.

Looks good in UK,or? Freedom Day announced? Without a next type of Corona,we can have a good feeling about the concerts.

I really do hope this concert goes a head for you all. (We are not going to it - we are too much pipe and slippers now - minus the pipe). I have got a bad feeling about it. (Sorry!). I wish in a way that they would scrap this tour for now and refund your money back and when things get much better reschedule it all. I think it is sadly cursed and PSB's cannot move on from this tour and do other things. I think they should have done an album called "The Lockdown Sessions".

Full steam ahead now, can't wait to see them in June in Cork.
Re: DREAMWORLD Greatest Hits Tour RESCHEDULED until 2022
Optimistic also. I expect all three this year - Ballroom, Dreamworld, Unity to go ahead.
Perhaps Dreamworld may get impacted in some European venues depending on C19 situations.

you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional
Re: DREAMWORLD Greatest Hits Tour RESCHEDULED until 2022
So I' ve seen that Pete has posted a photo from the studio today- together with Goetz Botzenhardt.
Well, I guess that is something for the PSB...
Dreamworld or another project?
We have to wait some more time. I guess the Dreamworld tour will start hopefully this year..

All remaining restrictions in the U.K. being lifted on January 26th. So as far as I can see it’s full steam ahead for Dreamworld - and I’m off to the O2 and I cannot bloody wait.
No need for this tour to be scrapped, delayed, postponed or rescheduled anymore.
It’s the Queen’s Jubilee in June - guaranteed the government want everything back to normal by then so they can pack out the mall with tourists and have a proper celebration - they won’t let any BS variants disrupt that!
