Just noticed that on his Radio 2 show, he uses the instrumental of Requiem in denim and leapard skin for the musical bed whilst taking. Sounds rather good!!

Yeah - noticed that too. It is good as an instrumental.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

So is the rest of the instrumentals. There's a lot of nuances hidden behind vocals.
"It was a dark and stormy night."
"You know what's wrong with your stories? They lack subtlety."
"It was a sort of dark and kind of stormy night."

It is used for the weekly feature on music festivals happening that weekend. Always sounds so beautiful in the background.

Alan Carr's R2 show is produced by Malcolm Prince, producer of Graham Norton's R2 show and producer of the Pet Shop Boys documentary series from 2016. I'm guessing he's a PSB fan.
