So Opportunities (Let's Make Lots Of Money) (Original Twelve-Inch Mix), is it just me or is there a slight distortion/crackle on the right speaker? Starts 11 sec in.
I can hear it on my CD,apple music and Spotify
I’m not hearing it. Just got a new set of left & right front speakers by Polk and it sounds great to me. I’m so pleased with the new CD re-masters. The improvement is amazing in my book, the sound engineer has done a fantastic job on all of the CDs. I’ve had “Introspective” on constant play since I’ve gotten it. There’s so much more detail than on the 2001 masters. The base is tight and punchy and the separation between the left and right channels is excellent. The vocals are a bit higher in the mix as well, I’m hearing backing vocals I wasn’t aware of before. No need for the 2001 masters from now on.

PS- turn the volume way up, they sound fantastic loud and no distortion!
It also occurs at the end at about 6.44.

I noticed it with headphones. Either I'm hearing things (on three different formats) or i have lost the plot.

Does the vinyl re-issues also include the subtle variartions on "Violence" and "I want To Wake Up" we can hear on the newly remastered CDs..or just the CD editions are different on that??? Anybody can help checking this??
Thanks in advance!

You do know that people only buy vinyl to keep in the shrinkwrap and to say "I only buy the vinyls"? It's called vinylsnobism.

50 percent correct. Im scared to open some in case I one day find I need to flog them on ebay because I'm so out of pocket having bought the damn things in the first place. It's a bit like buying and selling shares. PS anyone want to buy the FGTH record store day set?

Shrinkwrap is called shrinkwrap because it's a wrap that shrinks over time. Which means it can damage the record sleeve.

This... isn't exactly true. It actually shrinks WHILE the vinyl's being packaged. When you let the air in i.e. open the record, it's harmless.

I do think that returning it back to the original shrinkwrap is much messier than... you know, buying thick outer sleeves instead?

My method is to put sellotape right around the right edge in a loop front to back then slice open the shrink wrap so the record can be removed and then put in without tearing it..it works a treat, though not with gatefold obviously.

Not to be confused with Shrink Rap which is hip hop for psychiatrists.

Haha...Ok, that was one of my thinkings about the lack of responses here..
Anyway I think that I won´t be able to resist the temptation to confirm what version of the songs are included on situations like this!!
(if there was no doubts about the content...maybe I´ll keep them shrinkwrapped too :/ )

Have they forgotten about the final 3? The announcement seems long overdue

Hope not. Very & Bilingual are the most important ones of the series to be re-released on vinyl. :o

Nah, they're simply of two minds on which tracks to hide minor variations. My bets are on an additional orchestra hit or three on A Different Point of View.

Or just vinylnobs is good.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.
