Re: Australia
Just booked 2 tickets for the 6th June through Ticketmaster! Very excited!

But it feels like the flight
Of the von Trapps, does that mean it's war?

Re: Australia
I got tix for Friday and Saturday.
I believe it's standing room only, however when I check my purchase history, I've been assigned a row and seat number....
Does anyone know if it's standing or seats??
Confused

Re: Australia
I was going to ask the same question! Also, does anyone know how long the show goes for? It just says starts at 9pm
Don’t be scared, for only the dark can show you the stars
Re: Australia
I had assumed "general admission" meant standing room only, but having just reviewed my booking I can see I also have a row & seat number. It is very confusing.dio2005 wrote:I got tix for Friday and Saturday.

Here is the answer to the "general admission" question, taken from the Ticketmaster website:
My tickets say "GENADM" but have a row and seat number on them - what does this mean?
The reason a row and seat number appear on your ticket is so we can determine the exact number of tickets that have been allocated for any specific event.
This information does not mean you have a reserved seat for your event.
Depending on the event general admission can either be standing or non-allocated seating.

I see the Friday show is now sold out. Still no sign of Sunday. I bit the bullet and booked Saturday as well

Too good an opportunity to not go! I'm so excited by the intimate venue!
Still hoping for a Melbourne show though...

Otherwise it’s just hype you hope people won’t notice you’re peddling.
Re: Australia
I didn't realise there was a separate forum for tours until I saw a reference in the main forum. I had been wondering why there hadn't been much discussion of the Sydney shows. Thankfully I found this and thanks for some clarifications. Like others, I was confused about the seating/standing arrangements.
I'm booked for the 6th. Not too crazy about the standing thing. I'm not as young and fit as I once was but I'm sure I'll survive. The one thing that does concern me is how people push forward and the possibility of being crushed. The last time I saw the Boys live (1997 - way too long), it was standing room only and my friends and I started to get crushed. We had to push our way to the back of the crowd which was difficult in itself. Not pleasant.
I'll probably book for the 8th too once that date goes on sale. Maybe Monday. I missed the New Year's Eve show so I want to make sure I don't miss out this time. They don't come here that often.
