So does that mean Vocal has been released and failed to hit the top 40?

I LOVE it. I do agree that it should be heard all in one go. It's just one epic party track that makes you feel like having a good time. At first the album seems simple, but there are intricacies buried in each song that sound great on proper headphones.

I've had it on loop for the past week or so.

I would say not yet released. As it's release dates are (Vocal Remix CD):

iTunes: 28th July
Official Site - 29th July

So I guess that is the reason. That is probably the single. I hope there's a 2nd disc with b-sides or something, but I can't see that happening.

haha, no memory of the future was classic psb.

you should be able to say something negative about the music, it is an honest critique from someone who has been collecting their music for a long time.

most people say it is good, i sat there cringing through bolshy thinking what were they thinking....

I'm doing this for Vocal. Most people say it is good, but I'm doing what were you thinking, cringing through Vocal and just shaking my head at it.

Yes Vocal for me is a 1-2/10 at most. It's not as bad as Legacy from Yes though. Legacy is so bad 0/10 flatters it. The dud track on an otherwise amazing album.

I think 'A Face Like That' should have been on Electric, and instead put 'In his Imagination' on Elysium in place of it.

Sorry, just a random thought.

The beauty of computer music files is that you can do your own tracklisting etc in just a few clicks.

What's this witch craft you're talking about??

Yes, but just as an official track listing, was just a thought.

Funny you should metion that. I was hoping before the Electric tracklisting was revealed, knowing that Stuart Price was producing the album, his version of Memory of the future would be included as a stop-gap between the two albums. Sort of like how Strangers When We Meet appeared in different versions on different David Bowie studio albums.
This is a song about boys and girls. You hear it playing all over the world.

I can actually see this and I agree with you. It even has the thunder sounds like Axis. What to replace it with on Elysium? I think In His Imagination would work very well, A certain "Je ne sais quoi" would possibly work too.

It was a 8 point album until I finally listened the Springsteen cover, Last to Die, but my rating all of a sudden jumped to 9 when I heard it.

What a fantastic cover. Up until now I have not been disappointed in any PSB cover, AAOM being the best song of them. So perhaps their next project should be fully covers. Like Joe Cocker, they somehow manage to elevate the songs to another dimension.

I will give my final rating when I get the physical CD from Amazon and listen to all songs in full order.
