Please help me ID a version of Go West

#1 Post by rgmg »

Hi, after seeing the boys perform at NYE I remembered a version of Go West that I thought I had on my Discography or Disco 2 CDs but it's not. I'm sure I'm not imagining the version...it was just like a normal version of the song until it was about to end when it goes into a dance or disco version beat extension for about 30 seconds or a minute. If that vague description rings a bell for anyone can you please tell me what it is and where I can buy it? With the distinctive beat being at the end of the song I'm afraid iTunes preview isn't helping me here! Thanks for any help.

'Mings gone west First and second movement' I suspect. The dancy bit is much longer than 30-60 seconds though.

OK thanks after doing some searching this sounds much like what I had in my mind without being exactly as I recall it. Maybe there is something very similar to this out there too?

It could even be the normal single version... That has the same, different coda. Do you have Very, PopArt or Ultimate?
Woof.

From memory (vague without playing it again) it might even be the original 1992 version.

Sounds like the original 1992 version. The 12" mix of this is on the further listening disc of the Very re-issue
I Like Release!
