can anyone tell me if Neil has ever sung this and if so is it available anywhere?

this song is just beautiful to listen to
how can i feel bad,
about what i never had.

I don't believe that any version exists with Neils vocals. They probably did a demo of it with Neil singing, but in that case the demo never leaked.

Good the same, the orginal version is magnificent. Neil murdered both Nothing Has Been Proved and In Private so he should stay clear of Daydreaming and Occupy Your Mind.

I agree that Neil's versions of Dusty's tunes were poor but they were only meant to be demos, and I'm pleased to have them.

In private wasn't a demo. Just a bloody mess
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

There must be demos for most of the tracks they gave away. They may be lost or just kept under wraps as they will probably have guide vocals only. Maybe one day there will be a big box set released with some rare versions!

The extended version of Daydreaming is great. Never cared much for NHBP but daydreaming and In private are ACE!!!

I've never seen the point in an extended version of a ballad, myself. It seems to be all padding.

Yes, I do like that - fair point.

I'm surprise the extrended Daydreaming is still only available on a long forgotten Dusty Springfield CD single.
