Hope this helps you.

Tel: +44 020 8756 0707
Doesn't the first zero get dropped if dialing from outside the UK?
Yes, sorry, I should just have looked that up myself, earlier, instead of piss-farting about with mobile numbers.

As Bruno republic suggests, the landline number, when dialled from outside the UK is indeed, +44 208 756 0707.

Thank you very much for your help. I have called vinyl factory and they are waiting for replacement boxes at the moment. So let's hope that they get them soon and that it will come to austria in one piece this time.

Ulrich wrote:Just a few thoughts regarding the audio quality of these discs.

I've had a proper run through of the vinyls and I'm not that impressed. Sound quality is excellent, but some of the discs have a lot of popping noises on them, especially audible when using headphones. The lead in and out groove is very quiet, but many parts of the tracks are just a mess of popping noises. Doesn't sound like a high quality pressing to me. On a few of the records, the needle is woobling 0,5cm from side to side, as the center hole seems to be drilled off center. Anyone else got these vinyl flaws?

Just finished recording the discs to CD. Every disc from 1A to 7A, has these popping noises. 7B to 9B are absolutely fine. 10A to 11B has the noises too. The difference between the discs with the popping sounds and the ones without, is the level of the recording. 7B to 9B seems to be mastered with a much (11dB) lower level, than the rest of the discs. I guess it's a result of the recording level being to high..... :?:
That's why I don't buy vinyl unless say a tenner-fifteen. Had they done the same thing as 11xCDs I might have considered it as the sound would be superb and considerably easier to store. For me the tracks are more important than the product. I prefer CDs and I am more likely to pay more for those, than vinyl.

I bought a CD promo of the 12" Did you see me coming? for £30 on ebay because the shhhhk, shhhhk, pop pisses me off. I'd like to collect something I play - I'm not spending £300 in order to have to sample it all and for the product to remain unplayed - that's just silly. There is a bit of fun in having something rare, but I'd rather have something rare I'd play. At £300 it would never get opened.

I bought the standard Yes vinyl, but it has remained sealed. It would have been better for the standard vinyl to have had two vinyls; one normal, one instrumental.

So if N&C are reading, maybe a CD version of the 12" version - or release a Yes instrumental CD for considerably less (which would appeal more). And just to piss off those with vinyls make it the 12 tracks!
You gotta have fun!

The product would look just as good as a CD release, just be smaller and not take a whole floor up to make your own 'tick'. Each CD could be pictured also.

If I was an artist, that is what I would have done personally. I find vinyl a real nuisance. It's big and it gets dusty and it pops. The only use for it is a 300 limited edition standard vinyl release of Yes - but if you actually want to play the tracks - CD.

I wish vinyl would die and artists would stick to just CD and downloads. Then I can just collect the CDs and put all the mixes in one 'Digitalism' folder on my harddrive within individual 'single' folders.

Also if an artist *must* release expensive promos with unreleased material, please make them only on CD because I like to play them.

It really does bug me when formats aren't consistant. Ie CD, CD with Quicktime video, DVD audio, download only, vinyl. If I were an artist, all my releases would be CD and downloads only. Videos would be via iTunes/YouTube.

On the plus side, no more cassingles!!!! :)
You gotta have fun!

Out of curiousity (and the fact it worked with the standard vinyl) write your name if you'd buy a limited 200-300 release of Yes on CD with a bonus CD of instrumentals for say no more than £30. I would! ;)

Yes, instrumental.

If they did it on pre-order I'm sure it would sell out if the concerts all have.
My good deed for the day.

I don't believe that to be a true value for this item.

Most likely some dealer has a dozen of these things, and by splashing big on the first and forcing the price upwards, he guarantees top dollar for his records when he comes to sell them, having established an artificially high benchmark.

This sort of artificial inflation of the market is something you often see on eBay with limited quantity items.

I sold mine the other day for £650 on ebay, which was nice. After looking at the buyers recent selling history I'm pleased this can join his collection.
