Japan limited edition of Behavior with 3" bonus CD single

#1 Post by MD »

I just ordered this for 80$, have I paid too much or is this a good price for a factory sealed copy of the CD? Does anyone else have It? If so how much did you pay, what do you think of it?

I believe I paid around 30$ for it earlier this year, though mine was not factory sealed. No idea how much that increases the value. My copy is in good shape though.

£12 from Tower Records in London when it was first released.

I ordered it from Japan when it was released. Not sure the price. Also bought one on ebay for around £10-15. It's one of my favourites

What I love about it is that it's the only place to get the 9+ minute mix of This Must Be the Place I Waited Years to Leave...and it's a version Neil doesn't think exists!

It doesn't really matter what you paid for it. :D

It's probably the most beautifully packaged item you will ever see. Everything about it is stunning from the velvet covered box, the embossed booklet, custom inserts, screen printed CD and the cute little 3" bonus disc with an exclusive mix on it (which is brilliant by the way).

You've got yourself a fantastic buy, especially as you have it in new condition so you can make sure the velvet stays clean.

:D

Ah, the infamous nine-minute mix. I still don't have that Radio 2 documentary with Neil slagging off the forum member who mentioned its existence.

People used to purchase used copies for £60 at one time but I don't think a used copy is worth that much these days.

I have 4 copies of this item in question.

1 of which, was factory sealed when purchased (I'm not getting rid of this copy as it even has the promo sticker applied)

4 of which, have a 'plastic re-sealable bag' applied, even the factory sealed copy

I have been focusing on my flat the last 18 months and havn't had the time to browse my collection since moving :(

Does this answer your question?

WHAT is the point of owning 4 (f******g) copies of any item? 2 (Although Ithink is still 1 to many) I can understand 1 brand new (sealed) 1 to play now and then, but 4. You must have a whole in your head. Prices drop like crazy for suchs items and I doubt they will ever go up again. I have 1 it's used because I have music to enjoy. You have 4, 1 of which you can't even be 100% sure it has (the right) disc inside.

I've tried to see your point of view, but could not hear or see for jealousy
