There’s a little bit about the boys, on episode 2 of The 80s - Music’s greatest decade? It’s currently on BBC IPlayer

The week before that (I am sure it was). There was a programme about Trevor Horn on. The same channel (BBC2). I don't know if PSB's were on it or not as I haven't seen it yet.
Yes they are on the Trevor Horn Program. It’s features the Hyde Park performance of Left to my own Devices. This is also available on IPlayer
Pet Shop Boys will also appear on the 1988 Christmas Top of the Pops show on BBC4 next Friday night/Saturday morning and Performance will be shown in a 60-minute slot at 9.30 on BBC4 on Sunday, December 20.
Drico.
The pale kid that hides in the attic behind his PC...
Pet Shop Boys Performance is being shown on BBC Four tonight at 21:30, exactly 30 years after it was first broadcast. Unfortunately it’s a 60 minutes edited version.

How did the footage quality look on modern TVs compared to the DVD ?
Seems the same to me.
I went to check I Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You to see if it's censored.
Have we always had this footage? https://streamable.com/iap1uq
There are close ups of Neil singing the words for the bit that was removed.

Both edits of 'Where the streets' are on the Performance DVD.
Not sure if this is actually PSB's related or not. It's A Sin cast are on Channel Four tonight on The Great British Christmas Bake Off. I think around 8.00pm.
