'How can you expect to be taken seriously?' 7" mix

#1 Post by Harry »

Hi all,

I've seen a US CD single of 'How can you expect to be taken seriously?' on eBay which has a 7" 'Perfect Attitude Mix', is this the single mix from Videography/PopArt that I have been looking for?

Cheers!

Harry, seriously

in answer to your question Im pretty sure it isn't the single mix, which I believe has never been released anywhere apart from the 7"

It's similar to the UK 7"/video mix, but there are some slight differences. No "gotta have fun" sample, for one thing.

As music-only, it was only ever put on the 7".

However, it's the version used in the video, so if you've got the PopArt DVD, you can just rip the audio from it.

Greetings,

The 7" mix (with the "gotta have funk" and "do you have a message for your fans" elements) is also on the Australian cassette single I have, clocking in at 4:10.

I'm curious, is anyone who has a cassette single from another country, able to confirm whether the mix that appears on their cassette single the same version?

Thanks.

Retro. :)
