Do you expect a fifth single (and probably last) from Nonetheless in December?
Re: Do you expect a fifth single (and probably last) from Nonetheless in December?
I reckon they’ll drop a single digitally early November, prior to the expanded edition on the 22nd, with the CD single following early December.
My tracklisting guess is:
All the young dudes
New London boy (new version)
Ice remembers
New Year’s Eve
Feel (remix)
Clean air hybrid electric bus (extended mix)

Where did they talk about Ice Remembers?

Neil’s Nonetheless diary in Annually. He sounded enthusiastic about it. Some or all of it is spoken.jasonjohn wrote:Where did they talk about Ice Remembers?

It’s clearly the Parlophone Effect. Otherwise there would have been 2-3 max. singles, with one proper music video. And no expanded versions of Nonetheless or even Furthermore.daveid wrote: ↑Fri 27 Sep 2024, 10:49 am I think nickname needs to create a new poll as it's clear there will be a fifth and that it will be released in October/November. I think it will be All the young dudes b/w CAHEB and something else.
Wow, five singles in one year - the most ever. They're really going for it this time.

To be fair, Furthermore would probably have ended up as an Annually CD.Leonidas wrote:It’s clearly the Parlophone Effect. That could be a real possibility.
I could imagine the cover being a single Christmas tree covered in their baubles or the aftermath of an office Christmas party.

If/when the 5th single happens, based on the time scales for A New Bohemia and Feel, we should get an announcement in October with the digital EP and physical CD in November.
Also based off of the Instagram post, maybe Method In Your Madness could be in contention for a b-side.

If they ask "Will be a fifth?", I think the answer is a clear "yes".
Some months ago I had two ideas. One of them was the possibility of 6 singles, just because of time scales (two months per single) but the first and main one was they were going to full the whole year with single and that was correct.

Well I'm the exact opposite! For me, Schlager Hit Parade is up there fighting it out for The Worst Thing They've Ever Done and Why Am I Dancing is easily the best track on a very average and underwhelming album. Don't think I've listened to it since the first week it came out... And as for Why Am I Dancing being about Covid and lockdowns, yes fair enough, but the lyrics aren't explicit enough for your average Radio 2 listener to make that connection.
Re: Do you expect a fifth single (and probably last) from Nonetheless in December?
Extended dance mix of Why am I dancing and I'll be very happy, more trumpets! Would also like to see Schlager (= fun) and Bullet (= dance-y). A "festive" one with New Years Eve etc. seems a bit too obvious? Though I realize the decision is mostly about the commerical potential, or is it?
Re: Do you expect a fifth single (and probably last) from Nonetheless in December?
The fifth single has to be New London Boy.

The 5th single will be one of the "new" songs included in the "expanded" album
