Well, I've just discovered The Night Is a Time to Explore Who You Are and now I'm all choked up. Why is this only a demo??

Their empathy on cinematic The Theater always moves me deeply. So does the poignancy in New London Boy, especially that key change, right before the solo.

The bit in the Introspective version on Always on my mind where it sounds like the earth is being torn in half (c.5:27) always makes me feel an emotion. I like it.

Oh dear sweet Lord...

The Indefinite Leave to Remain demo has just been discovered at Chez Petshopgrrl.

If you need me, I'll be out at Costco buying more Kleenex. (*schniff*)

The Pop Kids was one of the songs I listened to a lot when I was moving out of my grandpa's house. Even though I don't relate directly to the situation in the song, the themes still resonate with me..the slow "I loved you...", especially the last one where the instruments are cut...that line hits hard. Makes me think of the things I wish I did while I was there.

Also, Yesterday, when I was mad. Completely different feelings. I think it's hard not to get passionate singing that one, with its intro shifting from 'peaceful' to 'loud and almost annoying' and the way the entire song is originally sung.

Also, first post. Cheers.

It' alright. Amazing.

Leaving, our love is dead, but the dead don't go away, they made us what we are, there with us everyday.

Initially sad, but then slightly spooky - "and if our love is dead, it won't be dead for long"

Possibly the best version.of Rent. That piano line that runs throughout - beautiful.

Oh my God!
I forgot about that soul breaker duo:

The meeting - The clock 1/2/3

Every time I listen to it when the strings rise at the final verse of the meeting my heart literally breaks. And at the same time it's like a transcendental state of happiness and hope and life is precious and beautiful. Life passing before your eyes and you think of your loved ones, and all the people you've kissed (some are here and many more are missing). You feel lucky to be alive but at the same time sorry for those who aren't.

I mean it's so powerful and perfect. Amazing. And of course it always makes me sob.
