I wish this forum had Like buttons
(Maybe this isn't the place?)
Over the years I've often thought something missing here is Like buttons.
Just because so many posts are good, but there is no way to respond really beyond making a reply - which is overkill and noise in most cases.
Don't want to create unnecessary work for someone, just an idea given 2024 might have a lot to like about it

On the other hand - not so keen on downvoting etc.
Sure it might help stop arguments, but equally it could agitate and make things more complicated.
Likes are just an affirmation and nobody is harmed, but (for example) I'd personally think twice about making so many corny jokes if nobody is liking them - ha!

Ironically, I like your point and would have given it a thumbs up, but I've had to make a comment instead..
There is beauty in ugliness and ugliness in beauty.

The emoji (smilies) here are really dreadful, like something from the late 1990s!
Love Pet Shop Boys? You'd probably enjoy TIERGARTEN: https://linktr.ee/tiergartenmusic

Facebook drivel for people incapable of expressing a considered opinion.
And at the end/ Your funny Uncle staring / At all your friends / With military bearing
Re: [OT] I wish this forum had Like buttons
Nah β¦ Sometimes, people make statements that you (really) like but can't add much more. Quoting this very statement and just writing something that's basically saying "yes, I agree" is more spam than having an opinion. A like doesn't harm anyone and shows someone appreciate your thoughts.
Therefore:
A blues would be in B flat, pain defining wisdom,
but the soul is in the high hat, programmed in the system.
