Re: Reissues wish list
Why not? I mean, most of the b-sides ended up on Further Listening too so chances are that they can also be put on a Further Listening 2015-2018
Re: Reissues wish list
Yes I agree. It just seems odd that they have chosen to put them out now rather than save them for another round of reissues. Like I’ve said in the other thread, I reckon there’s something about these songs which collectively say something that Neil feels is particularly relevant now.leesmapman wrote:Why not? Re: Reissues wish list
If we start with Fugitive 7" mix, then there have been exactly 30 b-sides since 2009, not including EP tracks or the Love life record store release. If we include Ep tracks and other stuff then there's been quite a bit more.
Re: Reissues wish list
Whole Christmas EP ended up on Yes FL. So both Agenda and Lost can do the same.

From memory there was some kind of player which Neil thought only allowed fans to "play" tracks, but you could actually save them down really easily. This is my list of the tracks that were made available via the official site in one form or another:OakeyDokey wrote: ↑Mon 31 Oct 2022, 5:40 pmWhen did this happen? I'm only a young pet so wasn't around.Oznerol wrote: ↑Sun 30 Oct 2022, 6:45 pm For sure many people ghere will remember when PSB started to share rare and unreleased stuff on their site. It was during a short period of time, but a lot of still unreleased (I mean other than the trcky but possible mp3 downloads taken from the site) surfaced then, and for sure they have a lot more, to expand album re-isssues or create a nex "box of unreleased treasures". I sincerely prefer that than a new format release of stuff we already have...

Sorry to bring up the "mp3s leaked from the OS in the early 2000s" thing again, but searching for something else here on the forum I came across this list again, and looking through carefully I found a couple of things I never was aware of.
Do they really shared and audio version of "Philadelphia" (I mean maybe a studio version? of the live version we already know form the BBC live performance on video?) and also a PSB "Dub" of "Main Teil"???
This is not my signature.
Re: Reissues wish list
The main reissues I'd like to see is the complete back catalogue of singles from 1985 to 1997.
It's sort of crazy to think of how exclusive these songs are, especially when they're from the most
popular time in PSB's timeline.
After seeing how other artists such as Human League and Depeche Mode have been
publishing their original singles onto digital platforms, it feels like PSB are missing out.
Release the singles.
There are lots of great alternative mixes of their best songs, essentially
locked away in the vault.
Also I'll add, this could be seen as an opportunity to include bonus previously unreleased material.
For instance, "backing vocal" versions. Demo/early versions. Unreleased remixes. Instrumentals?
Scrapped songs such as Bounce. Can easily include it as an additional track on the single bundles.
