I really believe one video inspired to the other one. What do you think?

Miracles:

I love rainy days, by the way.

Oh the music video? You could have put that in the title.
It may have possibly influenced the video. No doubt they look similar with the slow mo shots.
No clue. I haven't really watched both vids to give a judgement.
Plus I think to understand the full scope of possible influences you'd need to be familiar with all music videos and film
from around the same time. Something I'm not exposed to at the moment.
Can I just say, what a fantastic song the MJ song.
How does it feel, how does it feel...
One of my faves by him. Has some PSB strings too of course.
Worth a listen.

I remember Neil saying somewhere (possibly an ITV Chart Show review of the music year) that SiM was one of his favourite songs or videos or something of the year.

It's a really good song, you feel very confortable listen to it. It's like being in a room watching the rainy day/night outside. Talking about that kind of warm songs, I have a similar feeling with the song Someday is Tonight of Janet Jackson. Well, the whole album Rythm Nation is a masterpiece.
And yes I remember Neil saying he liked the song. Would you like a cover version of the song by PSB?

If I remember rightly it was one of their picks of best songs of 1995, which they played on their Christmas Radio 1 show Merry Pet Shop BoysNicholas wrote:I remember Neil saying somewhere (possibly an ITV Chart Show review of the music year) that SiM was one of his favourite songs or videos or something of the year.

Nope, tbh I find it quite dreary and I think they’d do well to steer clear of that whole Michael Jackson nightmare minefield.Nickname wrote: ↑Fri 15 Sep 2023, 10:13 pmIt's a really good song, you feel very confortable listen to it.
