Well they only feature on Confidential but the rest of Wildest Dreams is full of tracks with PSB collaborators, Trevor Horn in the most prominent position.
Confidential could've been a duet between Neil and Tina but I don't think their voices match. Anybody done a mashup of the Tina version and the PSB "demo"?

Am I the only one that thinks she performs the song horribly? It doesn’t suit her at all. Her voice, her accent. None of it.
I sincerely *love* Disco 2 and listen to it straight through regularly.

It's a great performance, it's not one of PSBs best songs and Tina's version is dragged down by Neil's backing vocals... sounds so lame and thin compared to Tina's powerful voice.

Absolutely love “Confidential”. Shame it wasn’t released as the single as it was meant to be.
Didn’t realise it was meant to be a single.
Wasn’t there another song that Neil and Chris submitted to Tina (maybe not for the Wildest Dreams album) that got turned down? Or am I making that up?

Such sad news.
I recall that, too. It might have been Try It ('Im in love with a married man')

Didn't they consider asking her to duet on "The way it used to be "?

Was it really? Try it is a cover of a 1983 song by Oh Romeo (a Bobby O project)

As big a Tina fan I am, Confidential is hardly the Boys or Tina at their best. A skip track for me. I think I do agree with the initial hope for a stomper, would have worked better.

Yes, Try it. Well remembered! They may have thought about The way it used to be but it was Try it that they wanted to do with her. Confidential was done on the condition it was a single but alas it wasn’t to be (don’t know if was around early stages of her illness perhaps?). Thanks for the comments back btw.

Tina’s last studio album is from 1999, Confidential is from her 1996 album. Her health issues did not start until the 2010s.

They suggested it to her, but she didn’t like the song.

Tina wanted a stomper, but they didn’t have one for her, they thought she was secretly disappointed, as Neil said.

Who can put the blame on her? ´

The best songs of PSB are anthemic and they know it.
