Geez they so prolific. They just keep banging out albums!
And as we all know what with the inevitable B-sides we will get its like we get almost 2 albums. Plus this upcoming lost release to make the wait easier.

The run up to a new album is always a great time to be a fan… and I suspect some months down the road we will get the tracklist and then obsess about what the songs could be like. I am a fan of some bands were it takes them 10 years to put out a new album. Not with Neil and Chris!!

I'm hoping we'll get the album no later than January and - as with Hotspot - two singles at the end of this year. Two albums in a row after a four year gap is too long by their standards (that is an album after four years followed by another album four years later)

A while back they said they had written, so far, two albums worth of material. As we’ve seen in the past, when they make a statement like this they don’t just mean 20 or 24 songs, but rather enough high quality material that could comprise two actual releasable albums. After such a long interval I strongly suspect we could get two new albums in rapid succession as we did with Elysian and Electric.

Fantastic news. Good to see they're working with a new producer too. I like what they've done with Stuart Price but there was a danger he was going to become their George Martin and they'd just record with him out of habit.

That would be the dream. Maybe an album in 2024 and another in 2025 with a bit of Alan Turing in the middle...

Neil's voice samples + Chris' synth patterns + ChatGPT = The music plays forever 😜
you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional

That would make a great opening to the new album. Very ethereal and moving.

Wow, they're posting WIP previews from the studio? That's amazing, I'll have to keep checking for more.
With that said, I think the result of that particular video would be better with real vocal takes rather than samples, akin to Sergei Rachmaninoff – Vocalise in Happiness Is An Option. That's my main thought when listening to that video and reading the description.

Yeah, and I'm listening to Super-era remixes at the moment thinking with this new album we may get remixes also. It's a whole new movement.
I suppose we knew an album was likely on it's way, but this is amazing news.
Exciting times, who knows what they'll do for marketing.
You're right, it's more than just the album.

That's like blaming the air freshener for not masking the smell of a bad shit.
