Re: Dreamworld: Spoilers
They are not old, there are still a lot of new albums and tours to come.

Re: Dreamworld: Spoilers
I doubt they’d miss the sales opportunity of announcing ahead of time that this is their “final tour”.
I sincerely *love* Disco 2 and listen to it straight through regularly.
Re: Dreamworld: Spoilers
Wonderful show last night in Vienna! The digital led visuals racing across the stage were well done. Loved the set list and it was fabulous to hear "It's Alright" live again. I really liked the new backing vocalist that replaced Kristina. She has that female "trance" quality to her voice and is very youthful.
A note on the lamp posts on stage....I wonder if they are a reference to the tube lamp posts one sees in the Derek Jarman "King's Cross" video?
I don't think Stuart Price did the music. I think it was just Chris and Pete. But I guess we will see if and when we get a tour program that was also not at the second show.
And I can tell the clothes were again styled and designed by Jeffrey Bryant. Saw him on the side of the stage. The clothes are all black, white, black and white and/or silver. Worked VERY well on stage with the lights.
Fun time. After 2 years of pure hell of not knowing if I was ever going to get the opportunity to see Neil and Chris live again, I made it. I'm grateful to have made it this far in life and have the experience of their live vision again. A huge sigh of relief.
Next stop.......Munich Saturday night!

Hey Petheads,
Been a while since I've posted on here but lurking as always. I'm so thrilled we're finally getting the belated Dreamworld tour. Here are my initial impressions from what I've seen:
- Setlist is great, although agreed it could be more holistic to include recent years/decade
- Definitely would have preferred reinterpretations of classics; new versions or interesting remixes are always intriguing
- I am blown away by the staging and visuals — this is the most visually interesting show (in terms of digital projections) that we've had in ages?
- Absolutely LOVE the throwback to 'old school' PSB, especially with their West End girls outfits
- Glad to see the "band" on tour with them again
I'm seeing the tour in Manchester, London, and Birmingham. Got the VIP tickets for the London and Birmingham shows which conveniently landed me in the front row.
If any of you are around I look forward to saying hi! (You'll recognize my Love etc., Love life, and Love is a bourgeois construct tattoos of course!)

Re: Dreamworld: Spoilers
The biggest omission for me is What’s Have I Done to Deserve This. A No2 hit in the UK, hugely popular.
Not a biggie, but feels like an Oopsie to me, considering it’s a Greatest Hits tour.
Still, looking forward to Manchester on the 20th - I’m taking my mum, she’s always wanted to see them live.

Re: Dreamworld: Spoilers
Thanks. I've gone from initially avoiding any spoilers (lasted a day) to seeing the whole concert.Tenlow wrote: ↑Sun 15 May 2022, 8:11 pm Someone posted the full Munich show on YouTube:

The quote by Chris criticising the musical proficiency of over-40s seems strangely juxtaposed with the 67-year-old Neil strumming his guitar immediately afterwards. Neil even comments on it.
My one bugbear would be including Vocal, Dreamland and Monkey Business rather than tracks that could constitute being 'greatest hits' but the biggies are all there, aren't they? I also think I'm always expecting another Performance when clearly that's never going to happen.
