Snore! It's always, "Being Boring"! OK I get it...its a classic, but if you're a fan is it really your personal "go to" track? I feel like this is the "fair weather fan" go to PSB tune...where once it might have been West End Girls.....
Being Boring perhaps carries more weight and acceptance. It's a shame people arent more adventurous.

He was mentioned earlier in this thread and now he's plugging the new album.

This has nothing to do with Desert Island Discs, but as it’s BBC Radio related, I thought I’d put it on here. It’s not worth starting a new thread. Last week on Ken Bruce’s show, Sting Surprisingly chose West End Girls, as one of his Tracks of my Years.

What did he have to say about it?

I wondered the same but on the actual show, the host just played the track with no comment form Sting. Not sure if he talks about all of the chosen tracks on another show, he has two songs played on multiple shows.

Sting spoke afterwards about West End Girls, said it was an iconic song. Said a bit about both of them going to the same school and how he met Neil while he was interviewing him. Not too many compliments about Chris and Neil but he did choose the song.
