Which song Pet Shop Boys could cover in the future?

#1 Post by romy »

The boring "Corona-Time",and a song,which I listened yesterday, since a long,long time,make me thinking about,that this,in my opinion,would be a great Pet shop Boys Cover,but who knows,if they ever would cover a song again.

This is the song:

We all know that Chris like Italo Disco, and I think,Chris would make a great hymn out of this.

The video isn't available.

But yeah, it could be time for a new cover. The last time was The last to die, if I remember correctly?

They could do a covers/collabs compilation with all the past ones and some new ones?

Some ideas I have

Sparks - My Other Voice (Would be great for Chris)
Or Sparks - Popularity (A hidden gem!)
Bobby O - She Has A Way
D-Mob - We call it Acieeed
The Flirts - Passion
Street Life - Randy Crawford
Kylie - I should be so lucky
Aertha Franklin - Say A little Prayer
Billie Eilish - Bad Guy

chris has already done a really cool cover and remix of sub-culture
which i like.

doubt they'd ever do another new order song though.

I've often thought they should cover themselves, like do alternate versions of some of our favorite songs. you know, like put out that dance version of you only tell me you love me when your drunk etc and yeah they could throw on a cover of some other group, but if they are going to do that they might as well do it the way they did that time when they covered U2, you know cover a group that at least has made a big splash like U2 and coldplay. although its escaping me who is worthy nowadays

Times are moving fast nowadays.

Dua, Ariana, Billie, Taylor …

Billie may be untouchable without getting killed in public though.

Divine's "You Think You're A Man", they could do a brilliant version of that song, which could be as good as "Always On My Mind", a big ask, but possible.

Love this...Only living boy in New Cross was another outstanding track, would love to see what the boys could do with that (maybe updated lyrics)
