Hoping someone can help me.
I like collecting variations and it says in discography that there is a It's a Sin CD Single with tracks reversed.
Are the tracks reversed on the cardsleeve, the disc or just the playing order on the disc?
If there are pictures, it would be appreciated.
Thanks.
It's a Sin CD Single - tracks reversed
Re: It's a Sin CD Single - tracks reversed
I think it's the playing order of the various discs. I think the standard 12" has the Disco mix on Side A, and You Know... & 7" on Side B. Whereas the CD Single starts with the 7" version then You Know... and Disco mix last.
This was the first parlophone CD single for the lads and I think it was released a month or two after the initial vinyl release but just before What have I... was released.
Take a look at the discogs site for images......

OK thanks that info makes sense. The 12" track listing as opposed to the the CD Single track listing.
The PSB discography page lists two entry for the UK CD Single so it threw me off.

Speaking of 'variations', I know a PSB fan who had a Pet Shop Boys CD single (I think it was Liberation) that played as a Morrissey single
(...or was it the other way around? Hard to remember, this was 20 years ago)

That would be a miss-pressing though.retrofuturist wrote: ↑Wed 23 Aug 2017, 7:11 am Speaking of 'variations', I know a PSB fan who had a Pet Shop Boys CD single (I think it was Liberation) that played as a Morrissey single

My copy has a different matrix runout than the two versions on Discogs ?Padster wrote: ↑Tue 22 Aug 2017, 4:29 pm Take a look at the discogs site for images......
