Wonder how this looks like! Can you do us a screenshot?
Seen this here also in the past, but for just two seconds only, when the internet connection was too slow. But nowadays - very now and then.
Whenever someone posts from her/his mobile and using smilies, which aren't from here on the board (i.e. keyboard similes or such from smilie families on mobiles), those smilies would appear huge.
Sorry, can't do anything on that, cause posting such smilies are allowed or with other words: this behaviour can't be forbidden at the time.

Found the bug!

Can you add something to the CSS of the forum?
If so, you might add this:

Yes, it looks fixed! What did you do?
The code below was added to the style sheet for the "subsilver2" theme. This is an old theme, probably made before emojis were even a thing so no style code existed for them.
The newer "subsilver" theme that logged out users see (And can be picked from your user control panel) didn't have the problem so only people using "subsilver2" saw the huge emojis.
After subsilver2 wasn't updated in the last couple of month, I decited to install the next style version called subsilver3.
So if anyone here, who prefer a board with a variable width, please choose "Subsilver3" unter Board Preferences - Board Style. Those who like the board in a fixed width --> "Subsilver".
...and others, who want a board in a dark mode --> "WoWDreanor"
There's a small bug, or rather a typo probably, in Subsilver 3, where you see a "-->". See the screenshot, I've marked it in blue, under the "Unanswered topics" link.
