Seriously ! Stargate is a world famous production duo !
I think they hit it big some time after this, with Rihanna and stuff, the production on Reunion is really generic. Perhaps they should have produced "No more ballads"

I love neils voice on this....its my favorite neil song singing register...high and doubled. thanks for the heads up, this was the song I was most curious about!
It's not bad but the title made me hope for something more elegiac, in the vein of "Being boring" and "Requiem". Having said that, it can be noticed that the themes of breaking up and subsequent nostalgia really embued the vast majority of lyrics in the Release era...

Sound quality clearly better than the stream, it enhances the song.

Hello...

Working with Stargate early on demonstrates that our Boys have been ahead of the curve for much of their career.
Their success at Coachella further demonstrates that PSB are in touch with whatever the current vibe is.
I suspect that most of the audience were unfamiliar with PSB discography but were mesmerized by the stunning laser show (which in all likelihood enhanced their altered state).
This allowed our Boys' hypnotizing rhythms to work their magic.

Just downloaded "reunion" on iTunes, the sound quality is better. I rate this as a quality B-Side, not the best but still good. Can't wait to get my hands on all the re-issues!

I think this is a pleasant song. Nothing out of the ordinary, but people really shouldn't be expecting too much from these unreleased tracks. Surely they never made it to album track or b-side status for a reason. It's good to hear what else they were working on in the background whilst working on Release.

Was it documented in Literally that they'd worked with Stargate?

Stargate, huh?

The first and only time I'd ever heard of Stargate was with their 2011 remix of DM's Personal Jesus.

Yeah... "Reunion" was automatically loaded into my iPhone at about 7:50 am London Time (11:50 pm, last night, Pacific Time, FYI).

iTunes is crappy on my PC, but works seemlessly on my iPhone.

I just downloaded this for 99p from Amazon as it's still a long 4 weeks til these are released.

It's a perfectly pleasant song with no particular faults or outstanding features. That probably sounds like damning with faint praise, but it's hardly going to be anything other than that given the complete lack of release or info about this one. It's better than Love life and Baby!

Here spectrum analysis of Reunion wav-track.
Frequency cut on 16k (green line) is equivalent of mp3 128 kbps or audio tape quality.
This is what I call Remastering 2017.
