The Austrian bootleggers are at it again!

It's sad really, if they were official releases they'd be lovely items! Just can't allow myself to fund whatever activities they are into.

They are lovely. I think I have every one - and you can get them for less than the regular promos go for during release fever (cheaper than these eBay prices). A lot of early bootlegs are still highly collectable, and I remember them seeming expensive back in the day. Maybe I have less worries about the business model.

I'm so sad about all those official PSB's 1 or 2 track CDr-s with paper inserts during Super era.

I have paid so much money for this but I can't even be sure if it's from official source. As anyone, who has scanner and printer, can reproduce it without any problems and result will be the same as on official product.
I even think all those promos on Ebay are made by someone who has original source files and he produces additional copies from time to time to sell it again. Can you count this product as official for yourself? Physically it's is the same promo as if it would received from promotional team...
Just take a look on ebay lots. Only 2-3 sellers still sell it and doing it again and again. Just price is reducing as demand decreases. They even still sell such promos from Electric era.

Why Management can't produce real promo CDs in cardsleeves??
I'm very miss by Fundamental era. It was the greatest time for PSB collectors. Perfect promo CDs which I still happy to have...

Looks like Lucky Larry is at it again.....

Until any of our Brazilian petheads can confirm these are legit, I'll stick with the mp3s.

We have been reliably informed these are fake!

Please don't bid...

and this....

No promotion has ever been done specifically in Brazil since Yes / Elysium era and even then it was scarce. All would be through Astalwerks. Please don't waste your money.

So, can anyone please tell me if most of the Electric promos in circulation are fake? I think I bought some of them that definitely are, and is there a way to know? Thanks!

I think the only way to know for sure is by the matrix number. This is usually printed on the inner plastic bit of the CD-R. I usually wait until psb-catalogue.com is updated and shows one of the numbers.

I'm not even sure some of the Super promos are official...

Boot of the '5 songs from our history' promo.

This looks like it's the same guy who did the Swedish Megamix promo CD ripoff.

I'm pretty sure we can put lucky larry in the list as well.

The millionth time he's selling this. Funny thing, I'd gladly buy it, considering that the original is selling for 50 pounds and more.

Does somebody have this bootleg?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PET-SHOP-BOYS ... 3068600423
As seller not communicative I have some questions to owners.
Is it really CD, or just printed Cdr? How is sound quality? Can anyone upload some photos of packaging. All we have now is just digital picture of front cover.

There are 3 sellers (columboegg, climbingaboard and 2015vialex10000) of these "Portuguese Unique" versions. They are genuine vinyl but the original covers are replaced with flimsy printed at home covers.

I fell foul to one of the "ultra rare" Portuguese Introspective promos - when I suspected and returned the item, surprise surprise the address given by the seller was unknown in Portugal. eBay did a great job in getting my money back though.

Please don't buy them they are horrible quality.
