The "Electric" Survivor Challenge - Round 1

#1 Post by ZiggyPSB »

Its almost the end of 2013. The end of a very good couple of years for PSB and its fans. To celebrate the charting of Thursday in the top 75, lets put Electric's tracks under a bit of scrutiny 4 months after release. I thought even before this album came out and it was leaked I predicted that the Electric Survivor Challenge would be a pretty close affair, well lets see if I'm right. Vote for your TWO least favourite tracks. You all got 48 hours from time of posting.

Happy voting!

I voted for "Bolshy" and "Shouting In The Evening", not bad songs though

It's a pity you didn't include the B-sides as well. It would have been interesting to see how those compare with album tracks in people's minds, especially as those have not been included in Geowayne's polls yet. Is it possible to change the poll after it has started?

Same here. "Shouting" is by far the worst track, and "Bolshy" is too repetitive.

Once again the limitations of the poll options forbid me to do that. There would be exclusions from the first TWO rounds instead of the one. Besides two of the four B-sides aren't very Electric like, and it is the Electric album we're concerned with after all. They could have their own poll althought it would last two rounds, or four if its just to vote off one track at a time.

I don't agree about Shouting being 'worst' or bad in any way. I think it's rather interesting, the intro and the different parts of the songs (in the same way as in Entschuldigung). PSB have managed to make the disturbing parts of the song sound like something you just want to listen to again and again. Or at least I do want to. :D

Shouting in the evening and Bolshy for me too. Great tracks butdefinitely the least remarkable songs on there.

I only voted for Inside a dream. I really don't have a least favourite and I love Shouting in the evening. :)
