Electric Box

Just spotted this on ebay. The number has ‘ap’ before it - presume this is ‘artists proof’? Wonder how many were numbered like this?

Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|

Typically speaking, an artist's proof doesn't usually have a number after it. Reading the item above would suggest it was the 28th artist proof of an edition of 350. Not saying it's not legit but it reads a bit awkwardly. I can't imagine they produced 350 artist proofs which is what that numbering implies. Could the person who owns number 27/350 please come forward?! That would resolve the query.

There is a picture on Discogs that has AP12 written on it

That AP12 number is the one The Vinyl Factory used on their site...

So many APs....someone needs to explain the actual purpose of an 'AP' to the powers that be at the Vinyl Factory. You can have as many APs as you want but they shouldn't be included in a numbered run of a product. It totally defeats the point of a limited run of a product.
