Yet another red flag - that guy is offering a "Thursday" promo for 10€ now, which is almost half-price. I'm really tempted now.

Okay, some more info about my boring drama. I got the "Thursday" promo CD, and I'm 90% certain it's fake. Could someone who has a real copy confirm this? Two things bother me in particular: it has a sticker, and the back cover credits are terribly low-quality.

To be fair, it looks just like my promo. The CDr promos are hit and miss at the best of times. The Flamboyant promo cover was probably the worse, with just lazily typed text on the cover which everyone thought was bootleg, but is in fact genuine.

Thank you so much, just what I wanted to hear. I hate the feeling of being scammed.

He just puts a random barcode and Parlophone digits on them to try and pass them off as real.

I think it's fake. There would be at least a x2-logo at the back.

The question is: why a IS promo? A Pop Kids promo - yes, okay!

In the end we'll know it in some weeks, when there's a Pop kids promo in the same look / or a complete diferent one....
This promo still will be on eBay around that time and for a cheaper price.

I doubt this promo thing since the last album, cause nobody from the record company could tell you, who exactly orders these promos for the market and they always appear after a digital download happened (regardless if it was a mp3 or a CDDA source).

...but yes, I will buy it someday for a cheaper price, althrough I still will call it a bootleg.

I think you are spot on Stephan. Let's see how many more "Lucky Larry" puts up for sale. Surely there would be a sticker or release sheet with it from the Murray Chalmers pr agency.

This guy is putting a lot of effort to make some fakes looks official. You can see the stronger ink on the fakes.
