"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]

Haha, and you get a nuanced version of Freelove right after! But that wasn't New York city boy, it was New York Oily Boy..big difference!

Re: Village People cowboy covers NYC Boy
He sounds like Barry Manalow
I used to taken an interest in Randy because I used to look like him in my 20's - same eyes, tache and chin - which I hated. I lost count of the people who used to come up to me and say, "Do you know who you look like?" and I always knew who they were going to say. Bah!

Gawd, I hadn't seen that before. I'm not sure whether to or
And everything about tonight feels right and so young

It's in the music...

The production here is really good, the singing is obviously not what we are used to hearing but this version is really good in my opinion - catchy changes, would be great to have Neil sing on this version I think... New York city boy 2010

As my dad used to say Dog bites man' that isn't news. Man bits dog' now that IS news!
In other words PSB doing a Village people type thing isn't news but the Cowboy doing a PSB thing, well that IS news!

Re: Village People cowboy covers NYC Boy
I heard this sample the other day....Holy crap! I mean, a kid could produce a better sounding album. It's not just his voice, but the amateurish production....Shockingly, after watching that video montage (and trying to forget it) New York city boy actually had the BEST production of all those terrible covers. Some where really babyish! But to be clear, even that is the most awful thing I've ever heard, but the other ones are even AWFULER, which is not even a word!

I haven't heard about these cover versions before, and now after watching that clip I understand why... Indeed awful!VinnyM227 wrote:I heard this sample the other day....Holy crap! Page not found. Pity, I would have liked to hear/see it.
Why not, the PSB have covered one of their song, too.
